At the heart of our mission lies the belief that Gou Seva is divine service —a way to honor and protect the sacred cow, a symbol of dharma, abundance, and nurturing energy in our culture. Over the years, we have provided shelter , food , medical care , and love to numerous goumata, calves, and bulls, ensuring they live in dignity and peace .

With 18 years of dedicated service, Sri Omkareshwara Gou Seva Pratishtana continues to grow as a beacon of compassion and faith, inspiring individuals and families to participate in the sacred duty of Gou Rakshana and Gou Pooja.

About Us

Who we are?

Sri Omkareshwara Gou Seva Pratishtana , located in the serene surroundings of Omkara Hills , Uttarahalli, Bangalore, has been devoted to the noble cause of Gou Seva (service to cows) for the past 18 years. Established with the blessings of Pujya Gurudev and supported by devoted volunteers and well-wishers, our Pratishtana stands as a center of compassion , preservation , and spiritual service.

Through various initiatives, we aim to spread awareness about sustainable living, animal welfare, and the spiritual significance of protecting our native cattle breeds.

To awaken a divine way of living rooted in Sanatana Dharma — where Gou Mata is revered as the heart of dharmic life, and all beings live in harmony as one family (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam).

Through seva, compassion, and spiritual education, we aspire to build a world illuminated by gratitude, ecological balance, and righteous living.

Mission

To provide a lifelong peaceful and nurturing home for cows, calves & bulls (especially indigenous cattle), encourage spiritual seva, while educating and inspiring the community and supporting ecological harmony.

Gou Seva is a sacred duty and expression of gratitude to Gou Mata. For the past 18 years, our Pratishtana has been dedicated to providing comprehensive care and protection for cows, embodying the spirit of compassion and dharma in every aspect of our service.

We provide a safe and loving home for cows, ensuring their well-being, medical support, and nutritious feed in a peaceful environment.

Medical Assistance

Our dedicated team ensures timely treatment, vaccinations, and care for the sick and injured cows under expert supervision.

Preservation of Native Breeds

We actively preserve and promote indigenous cow breeds, safeguarding India’s rich heritage and biodiversity.

Gou Pooja & Gou Gras Dāna

Devotees are encouraged to participate in sacred rituals such as Gou Pooja/Gou Gras Dāna (offering of fodder), promoting spiritual harmony, thankfulness and compassion.

Eco-friendly Initiatives, stating

We promote eco-conscious living through the use of traditional cow-based products such as panchagavya, gomaya (cow dung), and gomutra (cow urine), supporting a sustainable, self-reliant, and earth-friendly lifestyle.

We raise awareness and involve communities through workshops, school visits, and events promoting Gou Raksha.

Dr. Sadhvi Atmapriyananda Puri was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and showed a natural inclination toward spirituality from an early age. She received mantra deeksha from her Gurudev at the age of 14, marking the beginning of her spiritual journey.

She holds dual M.Com degrees, an MA in Samskritam, and a PhD, along with extensive training in dharmic scriptures, pooja vidhi, yagnas, and Vedic chanting.

A devoted Devi Upasaka, she embraced Sanyasa Diksha under her Gurudev and has dedicated her life wholeheartedly to Gou Seva and the preservation of dharmic values.

Dr. Swamini Atmavilasananda Puri

Dr. Swamini Atmavilasananda Puri

Vice-President

Dr. Swamini Atmavilasananda Puri, originally from South India, carries a strong blend of academic excellence and spiritual depth. She graduated in Chemical Engineering, completed her MA in Sanskrit, and holds a PhD. Well-trained in Vedic chanting, yagnas, and pooja vidhi, she has been immersed in spirituality from a young age.

Profound experiences with anonymous Himalayan yogis inspired her quest for a true Guru—an inner journey that ultimately led her to Gurudev.

After receiving Sanyasa Diksha from Gurudev, she embraced the path of renunciation and now serves as a devoted Devi Upasaka, dedicating her life to Dharma and spiritual upliftment.
